Sri Lanka has long been known for its high quality teas and one of the pioneers in the tea packaging industry.  Ambassador Tea Managing Director, Mohan de Lanerolle has been instrumental in setting up the first tea bagging project in Sri Lanka and many projects overseas. He is known as one of the experts in tea bagging plants and machinery by the machine manufacturer themselves; TeePak (Germany). His expertise is highly sought after in the Tea Packaging Industry world over.

Mohan de Lanerolle (Jnr) has undergone training on Constanta machines in Germany, Marden Edwards Machinery Company in England and management training in Japan. He is AOTS certified in Japan on Production Planning.

The workforce is highly skilled and trained to pack Lipton orders in the past according to their Quality Standards. The Ambassador Tea plant and the systems enforced have been accepted and approved by Lipton.

The strength of Ambassador Tea is having machinery to pack most types of tea bags and packeted teas in our own facilities.

The above points are some of the reasons contributing to Ambassador Teas strong and loyal client base.
